The first Houston CTE first Computer Coding Class is in the books! These students worked hard to complete the computer literacy part of the program. These students will be back in January to start the Intermediate Class and continue to learn coding. They will be focusing on computer languages, and will decide which certification test they want to take, and branch into that language. The languages offered are Python, C++, HTML, and JAVA. Student Will Montgomery said, "This has been a great experience. I feel like I have learned enough to branch out on my own with coding. I appreciate that this class was offered at the CTE."
In January we will start another beginner class. We will begin on January 16, 2024, and the class will be from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights. If you are interested please email: Teresa Moore at tmmoore@chickasaw.k12.ms.us
