Mr. Jason Pickens successfully completed the second evening welding course at Houston CTE. Students from various age groups acquired welding skills and many have secured jobs in the field. Mr. David Dempsey from NexAir visited the graduates to discuss job prospects in the northern Mississippi region. In addition, he extended an opportunity for students to purchase gently used welders that are still under warranty. Houston CTE looks forward to offering welding and Computer Science night classes again during the upcoming school year.
