We are excited about the future of Houston Softball and look forward to the leadership, passion, and commitment these two coaches will bring to our program. The tradition continues, and the future is bright for Hilltopper Softball!

🍧 SNOW CONES AT HHS! 🍧 Coach Thomas treated our students and teachers at HHS to snow cones today, and let’s just say… there were a whole lot of smiles walking the halls! 😎☀️ A HUGE thank you to Kona Ice for their outstanding service and hospitality! 🙌🍧 Our teachers and students have WORKED hard all year long, and today was a well-deserved treat! Proud of the dedication, grit, and effort shown every single day at HHS! 💪

Students across Chickasaw County were asked to participate, and the artworks were displayed during the Flywheel Festival. The winners from Houston High School for this year are listed below.

Today, we had the privilege of recognizing an incredible group of students—Armonte, Sadie, Jay, Riley, Armare, Kilea, Ed, Issy, and Zykel. These students truly are the heartbeat of our school. Their hard work, character, and spirit make our campus a better place every single day, and we could not be more proud of them.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Laura Sanders and Ms. Annalaura Davis for the love, guidance, and high expectations you pour into your students daily. The impact you are making is lasting and meaningful, and it was on full display today.

Calling her the GOAT isn’t even a stretch. Her care goes far beyond handing out Tylenol and ice packs—she brings compassion, comfort, and heart to every student she serves. She has a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for, and that impact reaches far beyond the nurse’s office.

We are incredibly grateful for her dedication, her steady presence, and the love she pours into our school each and every day. HHS is better because of you, Nurse Dawn! We love ya!
