Creation Haven brought their world to us at HUES this week. Our students got to paint Christmas ornaments in art classes. They learned a lot about ceramics and how that process unfolds. Our teachers also had a blast today doing the same thing in PLCs. A big shoutout to Creation Haven for donating their time to help provide our students and staff with a memorable time!

HUES Jr. Beta members collected and delivered over 1,500 canned food items to the Parkway Baptist Church Food Pantry today. Students took the lead in gathering, sorting, and transporting every donation. We hope their efforts make a meaningful impact on families in our community this holiday season. This project is a wonderful example of how Jr. Beta students truly "lead by serving others." They continue to show that when we lead by serving others, we can make a lasting difference in our community.

Mrs. Easley's class at HUES learned a little about the stages of matter today in Science by helping bake cakes! What a great hands-on activity that helped our students learn the material in a fun way! It was also real tasty!

A big shout out to our next Teacher Spotlight from HUES! Mrs. Axton loves her students and works hard everyday! We are proud she is a topper!!

Thank you, PBIS for treating our teachers this morning with room service. Our toppers won round 1 of playoffs last night and our staff had a sweet treat to get us started this morning! It is a great Friday at HUES!

Just because teaching can be a hard profession, and they get spotted smiling anyway!!! These teachers along with many others at HUES get the job done daily, and we are so thankful for them! Thank you, Hardees for supporting our teachers! #freesausagebiscuit #hardees

It is that time again! HUES' Santa Shop has always been an exciting event! We look forward to it every year. Our students love getting to shop for family and friends. Let's make this their best shop ever. If you wish to help, please drop off donated items at our front office. Thank you!

Students at HUES who met their AR goal this past incentive time was able to participate in a "Munch and Crunch" celebration! Keep reading, students. It is always a great day to be a topper! #readersareleaders

Mrs. Randle, our school counselor, is teaching students at HUES all about being punctual and showing up to school each day during classroom guidance time this week. With that being our November focus, our students are being made more aware of how important it is to be on time to things and not missing school. Missing two days of school a month is equal to 1 month of lost instruction! It is always a great day to be a topper.

HUES has the best PTO! Thank you for feeding our staff breakfast this morning. It was a great way to get the day started! A big shout out to Mollie Cardwell and Tara Kilgore for getting up early and being at school helping set this up for our teachers!

These are our HUES' Red Ribbon Week winners from last week. We had such a fun time participating in this very important week of awareness. Our students had fun, too!!
